AISCON Refund Policy
1. Conference Registration Refunds
1.1 Cancellation Timeframes
- Full Refund: Up to 60 days before conference date
- 50% Refund: 30-59 days before conference date
- No Refund: Less than 30 days before conference date
1.2 Refund Process
- All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to [refund@aiscon.is]
- Refunds will be processed within 15 business days
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
2. Workshop and Training Session Refunds
2.1 Workshop Cancellation Policy
- Full refund available up to 30 days before workshop date
- 50% refund available 15-29 days before workshop
- No refund within 14 days of workshop date
3. Special Circumstances
3.1 Medical Emergencies
- Full refund available with valid medical documentation
- Must be submitted within 7 days of conference/workshop date
3.2 Travel Restrictions
- Full refund if government travel restrictions prevent attendance
- Requires official documentation
4. Conference Cancellation by AISCON
If AISCON cancels an event:
- Full refund of registration fees
- Potential travel/accommodation compensation
- Alternative virtual attendance option
5. Non-Transferable Fees
- Registration fees are non-transferable
- Exception: One-time transfer to another AISCON event within 12 months (administrative fee may apply)
6. Payment Processing Fees
- Refunds exclude original payment processing fees
- A $25 administrative fee may be deducted from refund amount
7. Membership and Digital Product Refunds
7.1 Digital Products
- 7-day refund window for digital products
- Product must be unused and in original condition
- Refund processed to original payment method
7.2 Membership
- Pro-rated refund available for annual memberships
- Administrative fee may apply
8. Dispute Resolution
- Any refund disputes must be submitted in writing
- AISCON reserves final decision-making authority
- Disputes must be filed within 30 days of original transaction
